How it started
East Rock was co-founded by Graham Duncan and Adam Shapiro. In 2005, Graham began working with our founding client, the Miller family, to hone the unique investment approach that guides us today. The family’s gift of trust early on enabled us to create closer, more aligned partnerships—a comparative advantage ever since the formal launch of East Rock in 2006.
Where we are now
Inspired by a global network of partners, we constantly redefine the firm’s boundaries and partner with new investors in creative ways. In 2018, we moved into a new office built for collaboration that helps us support the projects of several long-term partners.
What comes next
The next era of East Rock is about expanding our web of trust to further nodes all over the world, discovering new territory and strengthening our team of teams.
